| 3 cup Sugar | | 3 stk butter | | 1 cup 7-up(r), lemon-lime soda | | 1 dsh Salt | | 3 cup Cake flour, sifted | | 5 x Eggs | | 1 tsp Lemon extract |
| | Grease and flour tube or Bundt pan. Cream butter and sugar together 20 minutes. (This is a must.) Add eggs , beating well. Add flour and 7-Up alternately. In 7-Up put the flavoring; and the dash of salt in flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar or lemon glaze if desired. |
