| 8 cup apples, pared, chopped | | 2 cup golden raisins | | Peel of 2 oranges, finely chopped | | 4 12 cup sugar | | 1/2 cup vinegar | | 1/3 tsp cloves | | 1 cup chopped pecans (opt.) |
| | Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to rolling boil, reduce heat to simmer. Cook slowly until apples are tender. Remove from heat and ladle into hot, sterilized jars . Process 5 minutes in boiling water bath . |
