| 1 12 cup Blanched almonds, ground | | 3/4 cup Fine sugar | | 1/2 tsp tablespoon Vanilla | | 1/2 tbl Grated lemon rind | | 2 tbl Brandy or rum | | 2 x egg whites Stiffly beaten |
| | Belend almonds , sugar, vanilla , lemon rind and brandy . Fold in beatenegg whites. Form inta about 2 dozen small balls, put on a butterd baking sheet and bake in 350 oven for about 5 minutes. |
