| 12 cup unsalted butter | | 5 oz unsweetened chocolate | | 4 lrg eggs at room temperature | | 1/4 tsp salt | | 2 cup packed dark brown sugar | | 1 tsp vanilla extract | | 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour | | 1 cup broken pecan meats | | 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels |
| | Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Set aside to cool. | | Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat eggs and salt until light in color and foamy in texture. | | Beat in brown sugar and vanilla until mixture is well creamed. | | Combine with cooled chocolate mixture (do this by hand). | | Before mixture is uniformly colored, fold in the flour . Before flour is uniformly mixed in, add pecan meats and semi-sweet chocolate morsels. | | Spread batter in a greased 13-inch x 9-inch pan. | | Bake about 25 minutes. | | Cool before cutting. |
